This Week in America

I just finished a very fun interview with "This Week in America with Ric Bratton. I'm still in Virgina getting sun for perhaps the first time in four months. I'd almost forgotten how much I missed it. I have a lot more radio interviews coming up including NPR's News & Notes's blogger's roundtable next week.

Hey hey Trey! I'll check out those radio interviews. We'd love to see some pics from you in VA with all that sun! Yay for Dads and writers!

Hello Trey,

Just read your acticle on msn. Thought it was interesting and so true. I've been a single mom for 7yrs raising a daughter. Been down the dating road and can't always say it was good. Have had those nights of crying and wondering. I have also asked myself if I would ever marry again. It wasn't being married that I dislike, I was just with the wrong person. I've watched friends marry and divorce a couple of times. I think at our age noone wants to be alone and starts to feel afraid that that might happen.

Hope someday you find that special someone!!

Sincerely,

Marie Latone

This is in response to Marie Latone's post:
"I was just married to the wrong person" - SO CLICHE!! and is infused with sentiments of a lack of personal responsibility which is the undercurrent of American society today. IF you guys just "got" yourselves before getting married you wouldnt be married to the wrong person in the first place. Am guessing if you still dont get yourself, theres always the second and third divorces to look forward to.
