KGB

Well the reading last night went very well. It's funny, in front of some crowds I read the sweet stuff about my amazing kids. I just blogged about them again on Babble.com. But last night I read some of the naughty bits. People seemed to like it and the place was full even though I'd sent out an email to about twenty friends and maybe four of them showed up. Still, the crowds keep building.

I will be lecturing for three days at the University of Richmond coming up next week. It will be my first time out of the city in the longest. I can't wait.

Also, I will be on the Brian Lehrer radio show on WNYC on Friday at 11am.

The crowds keep growing because your book is great, candid, fresh, funny...It made me laugh aloud sometimes.

Woohoo Trey! Wish I could have come to your reading of the naughty bits from BEDTIME STORIES! You need to come to Chicago and appear on the Oprah Show! I've been love love loving all the news and pics on Babble --- Chet and Ava are adorable and amazing!

Just like their Dad!

I'll be listening for you on the radio tomorrow.

Dads Rule!

Hello,
I heard you on NPR today and really wanted to call in, but was in the middle of taking my kids to school. My parents had been seperated since I was twelve, but when I was 14 my mom went to Florida with her boyfriend and my dad basically raised my younger sister and I through high school. He wasn't the greatest father, but he loved us and cared for us as best he knew how. In the long run it's helped my relationship with my husband and men in general I think. I have two daughters of my own and know how important their dad is too them. I hope it contributes to their own relationships in their future. Thanks for contributing your words and I can't wait to read the book.

Genevieve
