Super Tuesday Eve
It's super not just for the nation but for me as well. I still haven't seen a final copy of the book but they hit bookstores tomorrow. I'm running like mad, like usual, but this is such an exciting time for me. This morning I took the kids to school under fat flakes of snow then picketed ABC for the WGA for an hour. When my fingers started losing all feeling I left, went home, blogged on the HuffPost endorsing Obama, and then hurried over to Columbia for office hours (where I am now). I'll pick up the kids in a few hours but till then I'll write here in my office waiting to see if any students show up. This early in the term they don't come in much even though I've commanded them all to drop by and introduce themselves.
I'm told bookstores look very carefully at the first few weeks of a book's release so please buy Bedtime Stories early and buy often.

Hi There. I've been reading your blog for a little while now -- thank you for sharing yourself. I blog as well, and was directed to your blog through a mutual blogger friend, Rachel Sarah. Just wanted to let you know that I ordered your book on Amazon.com. Best of luck with it and all of your other endeavors.
Issa.

Trey,
I think it's kind of funny that I've had a spankin' new final copy out here in Cali for a few days... thank your amazing publicists! I've just chosen the winners -- two single moms and two single dads -- who will spread the word.
Folks, Trey's book is an emotionally brave, sexy, poignant read. I devoured it. Get a copy NOW.
My Obama vote just went in.

Trey, I received a copy of your book from your awesome publicist, and have been reading it. I am really enjoying it. I'm being super careful with it, because I plan on having a give away contest for it on my blog this coming Friday. I wanted to give myself enough time to finish it so my contest post can also serve as a review. I will also be linking to the books sale page on Amazon, and hopefully drive some sales to it.
I have also linked to your site in my sidebar, and wish you much success.

I've beed reading you for a while as well.
I'm be buying a copy as soon as I can.
I'm still tired from watching the coverage and the extended coverage...and the seriously super late coverage....

I just discovered this blog after reading about your new book at Salon.com. I'm a single dad too, and have been one for a little over two years now. I remember going to the local B&N during my early attempts to acclimate myself to this new condition, and being both dismayed and disheartened that I could find no books for or about single fathers. Maybe we're too small a market share; I don't know. In any case, I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of Bedtime Stories. Thanks for writing it.

Hi Trey,
My blog-friend Rachel Sarah pointed me to your blog late last year and I've been hooked ever since. ;-) Thanks for putting yourself out there. Doesn't it feel oddly cathartic to share yourself with complete strangers?
Just wanted to let you know I bought your book on Amazon.com and it's on the way. I'm looking forward to it.
Best wishes for your book's success!

Woohoo Trey! I'm reading Bedtime Stories now! I bought copies for all my sorority sisters and girlfriends for Valentine's Day! They're always wondering where all the good men are --- I told them that Single Dads are some of BEST men I know! Yay for the Single Dads everywhere! Thanks for all you do! Go Trey!
